Few hours ago, we had reported it was sad to see that none of the actors of ‘Padmavati’ speaking about the attack that took place yesterday on Sanjay Leela Bhansali. But, finally Deepika Padukone has tweeted about the incident.
In her tweets, she wrote, “In a state of shock!deeply saddened and disheartened by yesterday’s events!#Padmavati. As Padmavati I can assure you that there is absolutely no distortion of history.#Padmavati. Our only endeavour is & has always been to share with the world the story of this courageous & powerful woman in the purest form there is.”

Well, we had expected this quite earlier from Deepika. But, it’s good to see her to come out in support of the director who has given her two best films of her career, ‘Goliyon Ki Rasleela Ram-Leela’ and ‘Bajirao Mastani’.
‘Padmavati’ also stars Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. It is slated to hit the screens on November 17, 2017.
