As we had reported earlier, Sonakshi Sinha and Sidharth Malhotra are all set to star in the remake of 1969 released songless thriller drama ‘Ittefaq’. Starring late actor Rajesh Khanna and veteran actress Nanda, Karan Johar who will be producing this remake has advised Sonakshi Sinha something before the remake goes on floors. And it is that the ‘Dabangg’ actress has been told not to see the original movie.
Talking about it to an agency, Sonakshi Sinha said, “Comparisons will be made between the original and remake version. People from our generation haven’t seen the original film so for them it would be new film. There are several changes being made in terms of script, keeping in mind today’s generation.”
“I haven’t seen the original…so for me it’s a new experience. Karan Johar has told me not to see it,” added the actress. [sic]
Reportedly, the movie will go on floors in the month of January next year in 2017. The remake is being jointly produced by Red Chillies, Dharma Productions and BR films.
When asked about her first time pairing with Sidharth, the actress said, “It (pairing) is a mystery for everyone. I will keep it under wraps. It could be a pairing or it couldn’t be. It’s too early to share anything.”
However, a few days earlier, Sidharth had stated that he is not romantically paired opposite Sonakshi in the film.
