Genelia Deshmukh’s near escape from Bangkok bomb blast

Bollywood actress Genelia Deshmukh recently tweeted about her near escape in Bangkok bomb blast. A powerful bomb exploded outside a Hindu temple in Bangkok, killing at least 27 people. Genelia married to actor Riteish Deshmukh was recently in the capital city of Thailand for an ad shoot. The actress who is making a comeback in Bollywood after a break was shooting for the advertisement quiet close to the blast site, but escaped unhurt.

Genelia tweeted,

Bomb set off just opp the mall we are currently in -can hear the sirens blazing all over- we are safe but feel terrible for the lives lost.

Genelia tweeted her thanks to her fans who were quiet concerned about her welfare after the blast,

Riteish Deshmukh too tweeted his concern for the victims,

My thoughts go out to the people affected by last night’s cowardly attack. Taking innocent lives is no way to protest or make a point.

Genelia’s actor husband Riteish Deshmukh was with her and Instagrammed a few seconds of video footage of an ambulance racing down the street where the blast happened.
