Mushtaq Shiekh: “Gulaab Gang will give a different meaning to the colour Pink”

Gulaab Gang, the much-awaited film starring Madhuri Dixit and Juhi Chawla releases on 7th March. The film has managed to create a great deal of buzz already. The film has been in news because of its envious star cast. Gulaab Gang is directed by first time director, Soumik Sen and produced by Anubhav Sinha along with Mushtaq Shiekh.

We caught up with Mushtaq Shiekh who shared his views on his upcoming project. He says, “Gulaab Gang is a film that deals with some very serious social issues. It is a film that talks about fighting against the injustice towards the women in our society. It talks about empowerment of women. In the film, the protagonist creates a pink brigade, a team of women fighting against the wrong, wearing Pink sarees. Gulaab Gang will give a different meaning to the colour Pink.”

It seems Pink is the colour of the season. We say more power to the Pink Brigade!
