‘Half Girlfriend’: It took Arjun and Shraddha four hours to shoot for the motion poster!

This morning, we stumbled upon the second motion poster of Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor’s upcoming release ‘Half Girlfriend’. Since it is based on Chetan Bhagat’s bestselling novel, the poster as well started with the book cover, later transforming to a rainy backdrop.

Wet and heavy-hearted, Arjun is seen trying to hold on to his love, while Shraddha walks away. The poster hints at a thorny love story. And it took the actors no less than four hours to bring the right emotions.

“The idea was to capture a moment between them, revelling in the moment and feeling assured they have someone to hold on to,” director Mohit Suri told Mid-Day. (Also Read: ‘Half Girlfriend’ motion poster: Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor hold on to the passing moments)

It rained the day they were shooting for the poster. Work got difficult, but the ambiance surely got better!

In the film, Arjun will be playing Madhav Jha, a boy from Bihar while Shraddha Kapoor plays Riya Somani, a beautiful woman from Delhi. ‘Half Girlfriend’ is set to release on 19th May.
