Here’s Karan Johar’s kickass birthday gift for BFF Manish Malhotra

Showbiz is a shrewd world where you do not make many friends. But even amidst the pure professional equations, some friendships stand strong and forever. Director-producer Karan Johar and fashion designer Manish Malhotra are two such friends, who have stuck to each other through thick and thin. Manish rings in his 50th birthday on December 5 and we aren’t surprised that his BFF Karan has planned something exotic to make it memorable!

KJo is arranging a grand birthday bash at a five-star hotel in suburban Mumbai.

“Everyone who’s been associated with Manish all these years will be invited. The invitations roll out on Monday. Everyone from Shah Rukh and Gauri Khan to Aamir Khan and Kiran Rao, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, among many others, are expected to turn up. A suburban five-star has been booked,” a source said.

Since it’s his 50th birthday, a dress code of formal with golden touch has been decided. Apart from lip-smacking, vivid cuisines, the dinner will include some desi Punjabi dishes which both Karan and Manish love.

We recently saw a photo where Manish is seen posing with Katrina Kaif in Maldives. Followed by a photoshoot, a cute cake-cutting ceremony took place there.
