Shashi Sudigala’s ‘Mona Darling’ was all set to hit the screens on February 17. However, the film has been postponed to February 24. Recently, at the press conference of the film, producer Anshuman Jha, who also plays the lead role in the movie, was asked about delaying his film.
To which the actor-producer said that on February 17 suddenly there were many films that were releasing and as they were getting a wider release on February 24, they decided to postpone their film. Well, we must say that it was a smart move by the makers.
If ‘Mona Darling’ was releasing on February 17, it would have clashed with two films, ‘The Ghazi Attack’ and ‘RunningShaadi’. However, now it will only clash with Vishal Bhardwaj’s ‘Rangoon’ which stars Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan. (Also Read: Anshuman Jha enters into film production with ‘Mona Darling’)
