As we had reported earlier, a sequel to cross-border romantic comedy film ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi‘ may be in the offing. One of the lead actors of the movie Abhay Deol has said that he wouldn’t mind working in it, if it is made.
Talking about it at an event, Abhay Deol said, “There are talks of doing the second part of ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ as the film did well at the box office. It’s not certain if Aanand Rai and Mudassar Aziz, who wrote the script, are planning a sequel. However, I wouldn’t mind doing the sequel.”
The film marked the comeback of actress Diana Penty on big screen after a gap of four years playing the role of Happy.
Feeling overwhelmed with the positive response the movie has received from the audience, Abhay added saying, “Yes! I am so happy that the film is a hit. Thank you so much for the good response.”
Besides Abhay and Diana, the film also featured Jimmy Sheirgill, Ali Fazal and Momal Sheikh in key roles.
