‘Aankhen 2’ cast gets bigger with addition of two more established actors

Filmmaker Anees Bazmee who is ready to roll his next ‘Aankhen 2‘ has still kept a lot of surprises in store for the viewers. On Wednesday, there was a grand launch which announced the beginning of this much-anticipated sequel starring Amitabh Bachchan, reprising his role of menacing Vijay Singh Rajput from the previous part. Apart from him, an interesting list of actors Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, debutant Regina Cassandra (a popular South actress) has been cast on board as the new addition in this movie.

But during an interview with an agency, director Anees said that he will be soon announcing two more names who will be joining the star cast of ‘Aankhen 2’. At the launch event, a special AV was played which introduced the key members of this movie, in which a character named Rahul (claiming to be the mysterious man in the film) was kept under wraps.

Talking about it, Anees said to an agency, “There will be two more actors for ‘Aankhen 2’, one who will play the role of a blind man, named Rahul. The actor who will play this part is a well-known actor from the younger generation. There would be another well-known actor who would be part of the film as well.”

In this second installment, Arjun Rampal and Arshad Warsi will be playing the role of a blind man, while there would be one more young actor who would join the duo to carry out the heist.

Without revealing much about the role of that another well-known actor, Anees added, “He is a grey character, but he is a comedian also.”

The makers would be making an official announcement about these two actors soon.
