Akshay Kumar to further expand martial arts training centre

Actor Akshay Kumar who is a martial arts expert and runs free martial arts classes for women in the city at the Andheri Sports Complex, will be further expanding his martial arts training centre. The actor plans to take his martial arts training centre to other parts of India, starting with Surat. The idea is to start 100 such self-defence classes, including Thane, over the next five years.

According to reports, one of their students, Shreya Naik a teenager, who had trained at the Mumbai centre, single-handedly fought off a molester and got him arrested too.  Akshay, whose son, Aarav, is a black belt in kudo, wants to train his three-year-old daughter Nitara too.

When asked, Akshay remains tight-lipped about his plans and refuses to divulge any details. On the work front, his movie ‘Housefull 3’ will be releasing tomorrow, followed by ‘Hera Pheri 3’ and ‘Robot 2.0’.
