Ali Fazal bonds with ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ team over a game of cricket

Actor Ali Fazal used to get together with the cast of ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ post wrap up and play cricket.

“I think it was a landmark. So many cricket enthusiasts in one crew. We played a proper match. We got jerseys made,” Ali said in a statement.

Directed by Mudassar Aziz, ‘Happy Bhag Jayegi’ is a cross-border comedy. It is the story of a girl who accidentally lands up across the border while escaping from her own wedding. The movie features Abhay Deol, Diana Penty, Ali Fazal, Piyush Mishra and Momal Sheikh.

The actor shared that “there were fights and laughs and a lot of panting”, adding that he plans to schedule another match with the crew soon.

The movie releases on August 19, 2016.
