Ankita Lokhande trying to mend bridges with Sushant Singh Rajput?

The ‘Pavitra Rishta’ couple, Sushant Singh Rajput and Ankita Lokhande who were all set to tie the knot this year, recently ended their 6-year-long courtship. The couple shocked their friends and fans with their sudden decision. After the breakup, the two were mysteriously sending each other cryptic messages through Twitter, thus keeping their fans in a tizzy.

Many thought Sushant and Ankita have just had a lover’s tiff and will soon be back together. But Sushant’s recent tweet has put an end to speculations. The actor tweeted, “Neither she was an alcoholic nor I am a womaniser . People do Grow apart & its unfortunate . Period!!” [sic] Looks like the ‘Kai Po Che’ actor has finally moved on in life.

Though the actor has put a closure to this episode of his life, Ankita is still hoping for a reconciliation. Sources say, “Ankita has been sending feelers to SSR through their common friends.”

But will Sushant reconcile with Ankita remains to be seen? At present, the actor seems to be enjoying his single status.
