AR Rahman – I identify with Aamir Khan

Aamir Khan’s statement on intolerance has backfired for him, he is now being criticised not only by sections of society but also some political parties too. Though some are also standing in support of the Perfectionist. Oscar winning music composer A R Rahman being one of them.

A.R. Rahman said, “Any type of revolt should be classical. It is becoming very chaotic. People are hitting each other. We should set an example because we come from the land of Mahatma Gandhi. We have shown the world how all revolution can be done without violence.”

Rahman further added that, “I have gone through something similar sometime ago. And I then also mentioned that nothing should be violent. I had also faced religious resistance over my “decision” to compose the music of “Muhammad: The Messenger of God. We all are ultra civilised people. It is a chaotic protest . We should show to the world that we are one of the most civilised culture.”
