After playing a pivotal part in his first directorial venture ‘Dabangg 2’, actor Arbaaz Khan had perhaps gone on an acting sabbatical. He made a comeback after a gap of three years with ‘Kis Kisko Pyaar Karoon’. Recently, the actor-filmmaker, who now has a string of releases lined up, talked about this break from acting, clarifying that he has no plans to quit acting.
Talking about it to an agency, Arbaaz said, “I have completed four films in the recent past. It’s just that they will be releasing now. I had taken a bit of a sabbatical because I was producing and directing films. But acting has always been my passion and it is something that I will continue to do.”
“I want to focus on my filmmaking career. But acting is something I want to do for passion,” added the actor-filmmaker.
Being into filmmaking, the actor had stepped into film production with the hugely popular film ‘Dabangg’ starring his brother Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha. Further, he donned the role of a director for the first time for the sequel of this film titled ‘Dabangg 2’.
Currently, on the acting front, Arbaaz is busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Tera Intezaar’ opposite Sunny Leone, whereas his film with Nawazuddin Siddiqui directed by brother Sohail Khan titled ‘Freaky Ali’ is set to release soon. ‘Dabangg 3’ is also in the pipeline for him as an actor and filmmaker.
