‘Dishoom’ boasts of Bollywood’s most expensive chase sequences

Varun Dhawan and John Abraham are all set to woo their fans in upcoming action dhamaka ‘Dishoom’. The movie that is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and directed by Rohit Dhawan, also stars Jacqueline Fernandez in the lead role. The movie is touted to be an action adventure with a number of high-octane stunts in it that will truly be a treat for the viewers.

The story of ‘Dishoom’ revolves around India’s top batsman who is kidnapped just before the finals in the Middle East and how two cops team up for a 36-hour manhunt. Many exciting chase sequences involving speedboats, high end cars and helicopter have been incorporated in the movie, but one that stands out among the lot is the 12-minute chopper chase sequence.

Rumour has it that the helicopter chase sequence in ‘Dishoom’ is one of Bollywood’s most expensive chase sequences filmed. It had a crew comprising of international trained fighters. The scene was canned in Morocco. To capture the stunts of John and Varun, the makers had to use multiple choppers. As the stunt was highly dangerous the makers ensured that proper precautionary measures were taken for the safety of the lead actors.

‘Dishoom’ is all set to hit theaters on July 29, 2016.
