freaky ali

The movie ‘Freaky Ali‘ has been passed by the CBFC without any cuts. There is a scene in the movie where the character of Nawazuddin Siddiqui is selling underwears and considering the CBFC’s stringent methods, it was expected that they would get the scene removed. But, surprisingly that’s not the case as they have cleared the scene without any cuts. The movie has been given a ‘UA’ certification.

This has raised many questions as not too long ago, a scene which had the reference to brassiere was deleted from the movie ‘Baar Baar Dekho’, that also releases on the same day as ‘Freaky Ali’.

A source was quoted saying, “Are they saying it’s okay to have men’s lingerie but not women’s? If that is the case then why has a bra shot been allowed in the new Jackie Chan starrer ‘Skiptrace’? Are we to believe that female lingerie can be shown in non-Indian films and not in Indian films? Baffling, to say the least.”

Well, we too agree on this and feel that the CBFC should stop discriminating between br*s and ch**dis.
