Filmmaker Kabir Khan, on Wednesday, was heckled and shouted slogans at as he arrived at the Karachi airport to leave for Lahore. The ‘Phantom’ director was in the city to take part in a conference and said that he was a firm believer in India’s secular fabric and in the friendship between India and Pakistan.
A video of the incident that surfaced online showed the protesters mobbing Khan and some even waved shoes at him. The digital media was soon abuzz with news reports about the same. Soon, Kabir took to Twitter and responded in a very unexpected way.
Here’s what he wrote,
To media on both sides: 12 screaming lunatics with a mobile phone camera is not news. Please don’t give them the attention they want. Ignore

This would probably the coolest way to respond to such incidents, right? Peace!
