Kiran Rao registers police complaint against Facebook impersonator

It’s not an uncommon phenomenon for celebrities to face the ire of an unknown person impersonating or hacking into their social media profiles. And the latest celeb to have unfortunately been a part of this is Kiran Rao, director and wife of Aamir Khan. Kiran Rao has lodged a police complaint against an unidentified person who is impersonating her on the social media.

She has lodged a complaint with Cyber Crime Police station at Bandra Kurla Complex. She registered the complaint just yesterday and said that the impersonator has uploaded her picture on Facebook and has also been chatting with her friends and family members. A case has been registered and the police are on the lookout for the culprit, without revealing any more details about this matter.
