‘Mirzya’ actress Saiyami Kher aims to work with Amitabh Bachchan

Actress Saiyami Kher is eagerly awaiting the release of her upcoming debut film ‘Mirzya‘. The Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra film also marks the debut of Anil Kapoor’s son Harshvardhan Kapoor in the epic love story. Recently, Saiyami, who walked the ramp for designer Payal Singhal at the Lakme Fashion Week (LFW) Winter/Festive 2016 shared her innermost desires.

Looking gorgeous in a rose pink silk off shoulder choli and lehenga with some beautiful zardozi embroidery. The actress revealed her innermost desires that she aims to fulfill in near future. The first being to work with megastar Amitabh Bachchan. She said, “I am a big Mr. Bachchan fan and I would like to work with him one day.”

“I want to work with directors like Imtiaz Ali, Anand L. Rai, Zoya Akhtar and few others,” the actress further elaborated about the directors she would like to work with in her future films.

Saiyami was all praise for Harshvardhan Kapoor, her co-star of ‘Mirzya’, who she finds a total non-filmy person. “Although he is Mr. Kapoor’s son, he is total non-filmy. He is a very hardworking boy. Just now I have invited him for the show but he is shooting for his second film. We got along really well on the sets and it was great fun working with him,” said the actress.

‘Mirzya’ is somewhat based on a folktale about star-crossed lovers but is set in two time periods of present and past. The film is scheduled to release on October 7, 2016.
