PIC: Akshay Kumar and Ileana D’Cruz’s court case opens for ‘Rustom’?

Akshay Kumar is one actor who loves to surprise his fans with his every new upcoming project. With some interesting films lined up this year as well, one of the most anticipated is his August release ‘Rustom‘. The actor, who will be seen playing a naval officer in the movie, was spotted in Pune city along with his co-star Ileana D’Cruz where he was busy shooting for the film.

Both the stars arrived in the city on Thursday morning to shoot at the Deccan College in Yerawada, which was set up to look like a Mumbai Civil Court in the period of 50’s. Akshay Kumar cherished travelling down to Pune to shoot at this location. Deccan College is the same place where national leader and freedom fighter Lokmanya Tilak lived when he was a student.

Akshay Kumar took to his Twitter account to share a picture in front of this late freedom fighter’s room. He posted:

Talking about the pictures from the sets, both the stars looked their part very well. The ‘Khiladi’ actor, who has been seen sporting a moustache, has definitely raised the curiosity level through the motion poster, but what came as a surprise was the look of ‘Barfi’ actress Ileana D’Cruz who looked different in a saree and a hairstyle that reminds of the 50s.

Certainly, these stills are more than enough to wait for this Tinu Suresh Desai directorial which is slated to release on August 12, 2016. The movie also stars actress Esha Gupta in a pivotal role.
