Rana Daggubati in a double role in a Telugu remake

It was recently reported that Punjabi star Diljit Dosanjh will be playing the protagonist in the Punjabi movie ‘Sardaar Ji 2’. Now we have news, that the movie will be remade in Telugu and the ‘Baahubali’ actor Rana Daggubati will be seen in a double role.

Rana has bagged the Telugu rights to the movie and is gung-ho about essaying a double role in this movie. We have seen many movies being made into other regional languages, in order to cash in on their profits. The Punjabi version was directed by Rohit Jugraj. The Telugu version will be seeing Rana Daggubati playing the main lead in the movie that he will produce.

Rana is also prepping up for his role in ‘Baahubali’ sequel as Bhallala Deva. We loved the menacing avatar he portrayed in this magnum opus and wish him luck for his Telugu remake.
