Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif to clash at the box office next year?

Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor and the very gorgeous Katrina Kaif are apparently all set to clash big at the box-office next year. Katrina Kaif will be seen with Salman Khan in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai‘, a sequel of the blockbuster ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. The news was announced by Yash Raj Films when they tweeted the first look of the film that will be releasing on December 22. The surprising news is that the Ranbir Kapoor starrer biopic being made on actor Sanjay Dutt too will be released around the same date.

Now Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif coming together after a long break is like a manna from heaven for their fans. The ex-couple will be seen romancing onscreen after ‘Ek Tha Tiger’. Their sizzling chemistry was much loved by the audience who have been waiting to see them onscreen since long now. On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor’s career is still floundering. Though his upcoming Karan Johar flick ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ has received some positive response from the viewers it remains to be seen how it will fare at the box-office.

The sequel of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ will be extensively shot in some renowned exotic location abroad. It is being rumoured that the movie will be a full-fledged action flick with some high-end stunts. Talks are on with some Hollywood stars who will also be seen in the film. Now if Ranbir Kapoor’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ does not make it big at the box-office, then the clash of his biopic with Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer will be a death knell. But if it goes on to be a blockbuster then it will be a cakewalk for him to clash with ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’.

At present, the ex-lovers are awaiting the release of their much-delayed film ‘Jagga Jasoos’.
