REVEALED! The story behind Sonakshi Sinha’s scar in ‘Akira’

Bollywood’s ‘Dabangg’ actress Sonakshi Sinha‘s upcoming film ‘Akira’ has her in an action avatar. Recently the beauty tweeted the poster of her film that portrayed her in an uncharacteristic fierce avatar. What caught the attention of many is the deep gash on one side of Sona’s face.

Speaking about the first poster of ‘Akira’, director AR Murugadoss also touched on the subject of the scar. He said that the scar has an interesting back story to it. He wanted to establish that she has gone through enough, but is still strong to stand up and fight it out. Murugadoss’ logic is that every mark on our body has a story behind it. Similarly, ‘Akira’ has a past injury to remind her of the time gone by.

‘Akira’ directed by AR Murugadoss, is an action drama with the tag line “No one will be forgiven”. The film is a remake of the 2011 Tamil film ‘Mouna Guru’. The trailer of the film will be out on July 24. ‘Akira’ will be hitting the theatres on September 2.
