Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma’s upcoming release Sultan is making all the right noises prior to its release. Recently a startling fact came to the forefront that if not for Salman Khan then the movie would have been named not ‘Sultan’ but something else. Yes, It is all due to Salman’s goodwill that Aditya Chopra got this title free of cost.
It so happened that Ramesh Taurani of Tips was holding the rights of the title ‘Sultan’. When he heard that Aditya Chopra and Ali Abbas Zafar needed the title for a Salman Khan film he handed it over to them without charging a single paisa.
Sources said, “The reason the veteran filmmaker handed over the title is because he and Salman go a long back. If it hadn’t been for Taurani, who bought the music rights of Salman’s second film ‘Patthar Ke Phool’ for Rs 11 lakh, Khan wouldn’t have got his signing amount.”
Sources say, “Taurani considers Salman as family therefore when Aditya offered him money for the title he refused it by saying that for Salman this is the least he could do.”
Salman Khan’s down to earth nature makes him truly endearing to fans and friends alike.
