Sidharth Malhotra confirms ‘Aashiqui 3’ with Alia Bhatt

Once again! The latest lovebirds of Bollywood, Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt, will be coming together on big screen. The actors who debuted in Bollywood with Karan Johar’s ‘The Student Of The Year’ were recently spotted in family drama ‘Kapoor & Sons‘. Their sizzling onscreen chemistry has them on the wish list of many production houses. So after delivery two hit flicks they are prepping up for the third one.

Confirming on the same, Sidharth said, “Yes, Alia and I are doing ‘Aashiqui 3’. It’s a great space and I hope people like us. It’s a great franchise to be a part of.”

Sources added, “Initially, the film was being planned with Hrithik and Sonam, but after both actors opted out, the makers decided to cast Alia and Sid to cash in on the appeal of the real life couple. Sidharth might even sing for the romantic drama. “The plan is to train and sing, so let’s see.” says Sid. The actor will be playing a guitar in the film as well and is currently learning to play the instrument for the sake of authenticity.

Sidharth, who is currently shooting for his next action film opposite Jacqueline, has two more films lined up. But Sidharth has already started preparing for the third installment of ‘Aashiqui’.  As he has to play a guitar in the film, he is learning to play the instrument for the sake of authenticity.

So get set for another dose of ‘Aashiqui’ with real life couple Alia Bhatt and Sidharth Malhotra.
