Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif to ignite romance in ‘Sau Aasman’

After stealing our hearts with ‘Kala Chashma’, ‘Baar Baar Dekho’s next song is all set to tug at our heartstrings with a romantic number ‘Sau Aasman’. Actors Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif will be shooting for the song in Thailand which is said to be a honeymoon sequence. The composer of the song, Amaal Malik revealed to a famous tabloid, “We wanted the song to have a happy vibe with the couple simply enjoying the moment instead of making grand promises to each other. It’s a celebration of the faith you put in the other person when 10 people around you say that he-she is wrong for you.” He also added that the film is a time-travel romance and is shot in many locations worldwide.

“Sau Aasmaan Ko Aur Do Jahanon Ko Chhod Ke Aayi Tere Paas“ features country music elements and instruments like banjos, slide guitars and nylon string guitars. He said, “I presented a scratch version to Nitya but she liked it and was very clear about how she wanted to present it.”

This song will be crooned by Amaal Malik and Neeti Mohan. Initially Amit Trivedi was going to compose the song, but at the last minute Amaal was on board.

‘Baar Baar Dekho’ marks the directorial debut of Nitya Mehra and is produced by Farhan Akhtar, Ritesh Sidhwani and Karan Johar, and stars Sidharth Malhotra and Katrina Kaif in the lead roles. The movie is slated for release on Sept 9, 2016.
