Soha Ali Khan: Cinema is supposed to entertain you and not educate you

Actress Soha Ali Khan, who will next be seen in the movie ’31st October’ based on the 1984 riots, spoke about how she was always offered movies that had more critical acclaim than commercial potential. Although, the daughter of Pataudi certainly said that she did not mind doing the same.

However, though we have seen the actress in many acclaimed roles, the actress recently confessed to the agency that she enjoyed commercial cinema more than the class one. Soha said that she firmly believes in the fact that cinema is meant just for entertainment and not for education.

Soha, who has been a part of ventures like ‘Khoya Khoya Chand’ and ‘Saheb, Biwi, Aur Gangster Returns’ said that she is good at both cricket and sports. We really are not surprised as the actress is the daughter of Late Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, who was former Indian skipper. However, Soha feels that her forte lies in acting.

The actress also revealed that she does not plan to work hard all her life, and wants to enjoy life as well.
