Sonakshi Sinha is turning out to be a multi-talented celebrity. From acting, singing, playing drums, to even painting, she is doing it all. The ‘Dabangg’ girl who loves to dabble in sketches, has been sharing her love for the art with her fans on various social networking platforms.
Recently, Sona joined the ranks of other actors who have been making use of their creative talent for a cause. The actress recently auctioned her paintings and donated the money to help breast cancer patients.
Sonakshi Sinha said, “I have been painting for a while now. I am still very attached to them and have been contemplating the next step for a while now. So when I was asked to donate something from which the proceeds would go towards a cause like breast cancer, I thought why not my painting? It feels great when you can make a difference with your talent and I feel like my art has found its purpose.”
Sources said, “Sonakshi Sinha is a creative person and has been painting for a while now. She loves to sketch and has shared them on social media for her fans too. In fact, she had said that playing an artist in ‘Lootera’ was quite fun because she enjoyed painting. Now, she auctioned her painting in Mumbai over the weekend to raise money for breast cancer patients. Needless to say, she was quite moved that her artwork has been put to good use.”
Sonakshi is also an avid animal lover and she supports PETA. She did a photo and video campaign urging animal adoption for them. On the work front, she has ‘Force 2’ with John Abraham, ‘Namastey England’ with Akshay Kumar and ‘Ittefaq’ remake with Siddharth Malhotra in her kitty.
