Sonakshi Sinha will be romancing Purab Kohli in her upcoming flick ‘Noor’. ‘Noor’ is directed by Sunhil Sippy and is an adaptation of popular novel ‘Karachi, You’re Killing Me!’ that is written by Pakistani journalist Saba Imtiaz. Sonakshi will be essaying the role of a Karachi-based journalist in the movie.
Purab plays an entrepreneur who falls in love with her. He is currently busy shooting for the official Indian adaptation of Nikkhil Advani’s ‘Homeland’. This film that is set in Mumbai, will capture Noor’s journey.
Director Sippy said, “Sonakshi represents a real girl who struggles with real-life issues. There’s an immense sense of relatability to her because she, as an actress, has the courage to present her vulnerability.”
