Hrithik Roshan and Yami Gautam-starrer ‘Kaabil’ is already a winner!

With Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Raees’ and Hrithik Roshan‘s ‘Kaabil’ hitting the screens on January 25, looks like an interesting time awaits us ahead at the box office. And why not? This is what you call a real face-off between two superstars; both with immeasurable contribution to Bollywood and its growth.

Given how the Indian audience are high on emotions than on anything else, it comes as no surprise that fans of both leagues would be flooding the social media claiming to emerge victorious soon. The prevalence of ‘Raees’ fans across all platforms is commendable, and looks like you already think ‘Kaabil’ is an underdog.

Two special screenings of ‘Kaabil’ took place this week. The Roshan family invited their close friends and family members to watch the film. To say the least, the guests were taken by surprise with its emotional intensity and thorough execution. The agonised yet ever-smiling magician had startled us, moved us and choked us. And why forget the majestic king in ‘Jodhaa Akbar’, the army officer in ‘Lakshya’ or a misled terrorist in ‘Mission Kashmir’? And the younger scion in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’ who weaves back his broken family, remained our teenage crush for a long time.

Not to forget, Sanjay Gupta has taken up an extremely unconventional love story for ‘Kaabil’. You might be familiar with a man and a woman romancing, but not certainly with two visually impaired people living their lives with same amount of love, self-pride and self-esteem. Enough to evoke strong curiosity, right?
