Hrithik Roshan ends ‘Rustom’ vs ‘Mohenjo Daro’ clash with a tweet

Superstar Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rustom’ and Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’ clash at the box office this week was looked upon with apprehension by many. But thanks to a tweet by the ‘Bang Bang’ actor, the tense situation has now fizzled out. Though Akshay Kumar’s thriller was being promoted by his Bollywood colleagues on social media Duggu’s period romance did not receive such a support. The handsome hunk went on to prove that he is large-hearted by supporting Akki’s film.

Hrithik Roshan who has been going through some trying times lately due to his tussle with Kangana Ranaut did something extremely rare and sporting for Akshay Kumar. Putting an end to rumours of animosity with the Khiladi Kumar he tweeted, ““#MohenjoDaro is just 4 days away. And so is #Rustom (wink) @akshaykumar #dostiKiHaiToNibhaniPadegi.”

In this manner, Hrithik killed two birds with one stone.

Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’ is a period film that also marks the debut of Pooja Hegde. It will release on August 12, the same day as Akshay Kumar’s thriller ‘Rustom’. The Neeraj Pandey film that also stars Ileana D’Cruz and Esha Gupta too releases on the same day as Ashutosh Gowariker’ directorial.
