Hrithik Roshan talks about his prep for 'Kaabil'

After releasing the intense first look and a thrilling motion poster, the makers of thriller drama ‘Kaabil’ are all set to unveil the theatrical trailer tomorrow on Wednesday. Every fan of superstar Hrithik Roshan is eagerly waiting to see the actor playing a different role, that too of a visually impaired person for the first time on the big screen. Recently, the actor was spotted at a media preview of the trailer launch of the film where he chose to speak about the performance he looked up to while prepping up for ‘Kaabil’.

It’s none other than an Oscar-winning performance from Hollywood star Al Pacino in his 1992 released classic ‘Scent of a Woman’. Talking about it to a news channel, Hrithik said, “Al Pacino in ‘Scent of a Woman’ was probably the only performance I took note of before doing this.” [sic]

It was not easy for Hrithik to shoot this film especially the action sequences, but keeping up the spirit of facing challenges, he took inspiration from the brave visually impaired people with whom he had spent time.

“There is not a single note of playing the victim in my role. It is because I have spent some time with visually impaired people of late. They have come to my house, taken selfies with me and made fun of me. They told me that they are my biggest fans and have seen or rather heard all my films,” added the ‘Krrish’ star.

‘Kaabil’, directed by Sanjay Gupta stars Yami Gautam, Ronit Roy and Rohit Roy playing pivotal parts. Produced by Rakesh Roshan, it is slated to release on January 26, 2017.
