Everyone had something or the other to say on the recent attack on the Indian army in Uri. People, commoners and celebrities alike, spoke against this cowardly act which left 18 solders dead. However, there is a fine line between condemning an act and going ahead and crossing all limits of reasoning. That is what MNS did when Amay Khopkar, chief of MNS cinema workers’ unit declared a warning against all Pakistani stars and artists, giving them an ultimatum to leave the country in 48 hours or face dire consequences as they will be ousted.
Going one step further, the party said that makers of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and ‘Raees’, which star Pak actors Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan respectively, should chop off the scenes featuring these actors.
Today, as we report this, over a 100 MNS workers have gathered outside director Karan Johar’s Andheri (W) office to protest against the release of the movie. Security and police personnel have been stationed at the filmmaker’s office for the same.
Here are a few pictures of the protesters.
Well, well. What to say?
‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ starring Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai and Fawad Khan will be released this year on Diwali.
