Actor Irrfan Khan has expressed his deep-felt disturbance over the recent terror attack in Dhaka (Bangladesh). He took to Twitter to write how such incidents give a bad name to Muslims all across the world.
He also stated that the terrorists got the meaning of Islam terribly wrong and the Muslim community should not stay silent and instead should try saving Islam from being maligned.
“In our childhood, we were told that we should not eat without sharing our meals with those in hunger. Hearing about the Bangladesh incident makes me feel deeply uneasy,” Irrfan Khan’s message read.
“Kindness, mercy and compassion are the fundamentals of Islam. Why are we sitting silently and allowing our religion to be maligned?” he added.

A group of college students, who all belonged to a rich and affluent background but had apparently lost touch with families for months, took hostage of a bunch of people who were dining at an upscale cafe in Dhaka. The ones who were unable to chant Quran and prove themselves Muslims were killed with sharp weapons. Twenty people, including an Indian woman, lost their lives in the attack.
Not only Khan but many eminent personalities from Indian film fraternity have come forward to condemn such acts of terror and have urged to restore peace.
