It’s a wrap for Sohail Khan’s ‘Ali’

Sohail Khan has finished shooting his directorial project ‘Ali’ starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Amy Jackson. This is the first time  that Nawaz will be trying his luck in a romantic comedy.

The film has been shot in Delhi and Pune and features Nawaz in the title role. The actor was last seen in Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Raman Raghav 2.0’ where he played a serial killer. Isn’t a romantic comedy a huge shift from the previous?

“No two roles offered to me so far have been more contrasting than Raman Raghav and Ali. It’s like occupying two different worlds, two different civilizations. Shooting Ali with Sohail Khan is a happy experience.” Nawaz said in one of his earlier interviews.

No release date for ‘Ali’ is yet finalised but it is most likely to hit the screens in September.
