It’s Official: Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan start shooting for ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’

Just yesterday, both Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan posted some cryptic messages on Twitter hinting their reconciliation after ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.’ While we were still speculating, here is Dharma Productions confirming the news.

The production house took to their Instagram account to confirm the sequel of ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’, which will be titled, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ and will have Varun and Alia in the lead. The production house also confirmed that the shooting of the same will kick start today.

The movie which will be taking the franchise forward will be helmed by Shashank Khaitan. While the first schedule is the start today in Mumbai, the second schedule will be shot in September. The first love song of the film featuring the duo has already been shot.
