Jackky Bhagnani to launch his own production house

Jaccky Bhagnani, who also happens to be producer Vashu Bhagnani’s son, debuted as an actor in Bollywood with the 2009 film ‘Kal Kissne Dekha’. Prior to that, Jaccky has worked as an assistant director. After being associated to his father’s production house ‘Puja Films’ for quite some time, Jackky now wants to start his own production house.

But why? According to a source, Jackky was facing creative differences with his father as Vashu Bhagnani primarily follows the old school of filmmaking which Jackky is not really fond of. Thus, he wants to follow his own ideas of filmmaking. “Jackky wants to make small-budget, but high-concept films, while his father believes in making big commercial films with all the trappings that come with it. Jackky wants to hire fresh, young talent in writing, directing and acting. He is very inspired by his friend Riteish Deshmukh and how he has evolved as an actor and now a filmmaker. He doesn’t want to make senseless films with huge budgets. He wants to spend money according to the requirement of the film. He wants to have creative control, which he didn’t have in Vashu’s banner Puja Films. The actor is friends with many stars including Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor and wants to make films with them.”- added the source.

If things go alright, Jackky might turn a producer this year only!
