‘Jagga Jasoos’ actress Bidisha Bezbaruah commits suicide

Bidisha Bezbaruah, who had a small appearance in Ranbir Kapoor-starrer ‘Jagga Jasoos’, committed suicide recently. The actress was found dead at her residence in Sushant Lok area of Gurugram on Monday evening. According to a reported in a news agency police has arrested the actress’ husband Nisheet, after her father filed a complaint against him.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) Deepak Saharan said, “Bezbaruah was found hanging from a ceiling fan of her recently acquired rented apartment.”

“Her father suspected something foul as she was not picking the phone on Monday evening. He approached the police and gave details of her local address,” Deepak Saharan added. (Also Read: ‘Jagga Jasoos’ mints decent money over the first weekend)

When the policed reached the actress’ residence, the main gate and the door were locked from inside, and then the police team broke the door and she was found hanging.

The Deputy Commissioner of Police said, “The victim’s father claimed in his complaint that she had a love marriage but often had quarrels with her husband.”

Investigation on the same has started and the actress’ mobile phone, social networking site conversations, are being examined. Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal has spoken to his Haryana counterpart Manohar Lal Khattar seeking proper investigation into the death.
