John Abraham : “There is a separate place for films and cricket”

Bollywood actor John Abraham is keeping busy with his upcoming release ‘Rocky Handsome’ these days. While the film promises us some high-octane dose of action & thrills, it might worry the makers that the film is releasing alongside the T20 Cricket World Cup and India is crazy about Cricket!

However, John himself is not at all worried with this. Referring Shakun Batra’s ‘Kapoor & Sons’ as an example, he said ““Kapoor & Sons has also released during the matches. Films have to release and both have to co-exist. It shouldn’t happen like if cricket is happening that films can’t release. There is a separate place for films and cricket. The audience today is segmented. The audience has already decided if they want to see the film or cricket matches.”
