Juhi Chawla makes her debut in the digital platform

The digital space has become quite big these days with more and more mainstream Bollywood actors making their entry in it. We have already seen actors like Swara Bhaskar, Rajat Kapoor and many others shoot for a digital series or a viral video and now, here is another mainstream Bollywood actress who is all set to make her digital debut.

Juhi Chawla, who has been experimenting with various genres of work recently, will next be seen in a web series. The series will be directed by acclaimed filmmaker Nagesh Kukunoor. (Also Read: Juhi Chawla: Production is a man’s job and I think it is best left to them)

A source close to the project informs, “Females are never really seen in the forefront in the defence. They are seen in secondary roles. Even in Bollywood films rarely are women seen in the armed forces. But Juhi’s web series directed by Nagesh Kukunoor is about a female commando and how her dedication is given wings by the Defence Minster (played by Juhi) who crafts her way to help her serve the nation while proving women too can be equally stronger as their male counterparts.”

The actress is currently shooting for the same in Satara.

Apart from this, Juhi also did a retro song down South in the film titled ‘Pushpaka Vimana’ recently.
