Juhi Chawla: Production is a man’s job and I think it is best left to them

Juhi Chawla is not just an amazing actress, but has also ventured into production with a number of movies including ‘Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani’ starring her and Shah Rukh Khan, ‘Chalte Chalte’ featuring Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji, and many more.

She also partnered with friend and actor Shah Rukh Khan, under Red Chillies Entertainment. But the actress has now decided to step out of production and the reason will surprise you.

Now when women are finally making their space behind the camera and venturing into production,direction and off camera jobs, Juhi thinks that production is a man’s job and it should he left to them. Says the actress, “Production can be very demanding as a career. One’s priorities naturally change after one has children and I for one am not even thinking of producing films at the moment — it’s not my cup of tea right now.
