Kanan Gill opposite Sonakshi Sinha in ‘Noor’?

There have been reports that Sonakshi Sinha will be starring in a film titled ‘Noor’ which will be the movie adaptation of the Pakistani writer Saba Imtiaz’s 2014 comedy-crime-thriller, ‘Karachi, You Are Killing Me!’. The movie will be directed by Sunhil Sippy and produced by Vikram Malhotra who has bought the rights of the book.

And now, it is heard that stand-up comedian Kanan Gill, who is famously known for his ‘Pretentious Movie Reviews’ on YouTube, will be making his Bollywood debut opposite Sonakshi Sinha in ‘Noor’.

Vikram, the producer of ‘Noor’, said, “We are in the process of casting and no actor has been confirmed as so far.”

On the other hand, the actress’ spokesperson maintains, “She is currently in New York and does not talk about her offers or films till the makers have officially announced it.”

If these reports turn out to be true, then it will be for the first time when a newcomer will be starring opposite Sonakshi in a movie.
