Kangana Ranaut

Behind every story of success, there is another story of back-breaking hard work. Kangana Ranaut‘s is no exception. The actress has proven herself to be a bankable performer and is now set to venture in direction and production as well.

Not many are aware of Kangana’s days of formation, though. Recently, on Anupam Kher’s chat show, she opened up on the same.

“At the age when girls write love letters or go on blind dates, I used to work for long hours. I used to sit with intellectual people like Mahesh Bhatt and other social thinkers and talented artistes and when you sit with people like them as a teenager, you can’t actually say anything,” Kangana said. She’s a woman who lives life on her own terms and dared to do it even at an early age.

“I never got the time to play around and being a kid. When I was a teenager I already started struggling and I used to be on the sets. At the age of 17, I was already in a do or die situation. I have always been rebellious and I left my home at an early age, hence I could never get the time to be like a kid,” she added.

Well, the struggle is paying off well today, isn’t it?

On the professional front, Kangana will be next seen in her home production ‘Manikarnika – The Queen of Jhansi’ wherein she plays the titular role.
