Kangana Ranaut’s next with Nikhil Advani shelved

Soon after the release of ‘Katti Batti’, both director Nikhil Advani and Kangana Ranaut had confirmed that they will again be teaming up for an action-packed thriller. But reportedly, the movie will never be made.

A source close to the development reveals to DNA, “That film is on the back-burner right now. Nikhil had planned a film about serial killers with Kangana playing a tough cop, but it’s learnt that the film has been shelved. Nikhil might want to revisit the film after a few years, perhaps with a different cast.”

The director is presently busy with his other pending projects including a film titled ‘Bazaar’ and his TV show.

Speaking of Nikhil doing a film with Kangana, the source adds, “He has already discussed another project with her. She has liked the idea. But even for that, Nikhil wants to wait it out because he fears that the ongoing Hrithik-Kangana spat which will affect his film.”
