On Govinda’s birthday that passed by recently, he had expressed his displeasure for not getting invited for Karan Johar‘s talk show ‘Koffee With Karan 5’. So many celebrities have made their presence felt on the show but Govinda. But to this, Karan Johar who attended a press meet today has extended his apology to the dancing legend.

Karan Johar was quoted saying, “I have not invited him, no. I think there was a talk about getting him on the show in between and it didn’t seem to work out at that time. I think they thought about it and ideated. It would be an absolute honour and privilege to have Govinda on the show and my apologies that he hasn’t been and has felt upset about it. There was no intention to hurt him. He is a terrific artiste, a great movie star. And I would love to call him and thank you for passing the message on. Now I will take note and invite him and I hope he accepts my invitation.”
