Karan Johar: I don’t have a relationship with Kajol anymore. We’ve had a fallout

Filmmaker Karan Johar‘s autobiography ‘An Unsuitable Boy’ has been in the limelight majorly for his much-discussed sexuality in it. In fact, the actor even faced objections from the LGBTQ community for his take on getting jailed for discussing his sexual orientation openly in India.

But, if you thought that the autobiography only deals with his sexual preferences, then you’re going wrong because he has also discussed about his changed equations with his near and dear ones. He has openly written about his changed equation with best friend-actress Kajol. It’s no knowledge that the two were thick as thieves for more than two decades and also worked in several movies together as actor-director. But, things turned sour after the box office clash of KJo’s movie ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ with Ajay Devgn’s movie ‘Shivaay’. Devgn had accused Johar of bribing Kamaal R Khan to send out negative tweets about ‘Shivaay’. At that time, Kajol too interfered by retweeting hubby Devgn’s message with the caption “Shocked”. That was extremely shocking for Johar who didn’t expect his best friend of several years to suddenly doubt his character and take sides.

So, the director has now opened up on his equation with Kajol in the book and you will be shocked at the harsh words used by the man:

He wrote, “I don’t have a relationship with Kajol any more. We’ve had a fallout. Something happened that disturbed me deeply which I will not talk about because it’s something that I like to protect and I feel it would not be fair to her or to me.”

He further added, “It’s over. And she can never come back to my life. I don’t think she wants to either. I never want to have anything to do with them as a unit. She was the one who mattered to me but now it’s over. […] I wouldn’t like to give a piece of myself to her at all because she’s killed every bit of emotion I had for her for twenty-five years.”

Now, these confessions made by the filmmaker are indeed shocking for us.
