We all are quite aware of the chaos that took place before the release of Karan Johar’s ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, thanks to the presence of Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in the film. Political parties protested, but somehow the makers managed to get the film released. But once the film made it to the theatres, reports had it that KJo made changes to the film and reduced the screen time of Fawad Khan in the film. Well, looks like we all were just assuming things as Karan recently said that no alterations were made in the film.
In a tête-à-tête with a leading daily, Karan was asked whether he reduced Fawad Khan’s role in ‘ADHM’ following the protest, he said, “Not at all. When people say that, I find it so silly. His exact screen time is nine minutes, but even if he was there for 15, the protests would not have been any less. I didn’t cut his role. This is all he was meant to do in the film.”

Apart from Fawad Khan’s role reduction, many reports also suggested that he changed Pakistan to Lucknow in the film and hence, there were errors in lip-syncing of these words. But KJo denied and said the characters were of Indian origin in the film.
Whatever be the case, the film has already shone bright at the box office.
