Karan Johar’s ‘Koffee With Karan 5’ to go on air from November 6

Director Karan Johar will be back with the fifth season of his popular chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’, which will air its first episode on November 6.

It has been a while since the rumours of the show’s launch date have been doing the rounds and the date is finalised to be the 6th of November. There were speculations suggesting that Pakistani actor Fawad Khan will be the first guest on the chat show, but that wasn’t true and Karan himself denied the reports. The director had said, “No. I haven’t yet reached the combination. There has been a lot of conjecture about that. We are zeroing on episode one and will answer soon.”

This is when the guessing game started and Karan asked his fans to have some patience. “We are working hard to ensure that we live up to the hype and are confident that with the guest-list and all the new surprises planned, it’s going to be yet another cracker of a season,” a Star India spokesperson said in a statement.

And it was later confirmed that Shah Rukh Khan and Alia Bhatt will be Karan’s guests on the first episode of the fifth season. The actors will be there to promote their film, ‘Dear Zindagi’ and we believe it is going to be one rocking episode.
