Kareena Kapoor Khan has been in the industry for the past 17 years. The actress has made a mark in Bollywood, but like her peers she has never done a film down South. Recently, when the actress was asked if she would like to do a film in South, she said that she doesn’t understand the language, so there won’t be a connection.
The actress said, “I truly respect all south films they have great content, I respect and admire them. There are great actors from Pawan, Rajinikanth sir to Mammooty sir. There is so much great work being done in Telugu or Malayalam films. I don’t understand the language and so I feel the connection will not be there. That’s the only problem.”
“Having said that one of the best films in my career was with a great director from south, Mani Ratnam. I got the opportunity to work with him and it’s great,” Kareena added. (Also Read: Kareena Kapoor Khan speaks up about the bad response ‘Rangoon’ has received at the box office)
