Karisma Kapoor’s daughter & Kareena Kapoor’s son make their families proud

Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is feeling much proud about her niece and step son’s recent achievement. The youngsters have come together for a film that has been selected in the short film category and will be screened at the 19th International Children’s Film Festival of India which is being held in Hyderabad.

A proud Kareena Kapoor who has been invited as a keynote speaker said, “I am very proud of my niece. She has the Kapoor filmmaking genes in her.We might just have the first female director in the family one day.”

Karisma Kapoor mother of Samaira was heard quoting, “It’s a lovely honour to have Samaira’s short film selected for a festival screening. She is a keen filmmaker and films shorts around the house all the time. We are delighted and proud of her.”

‘Be Happy’ expresses the thought process of kids in their formative years. It’s a journey of a child’s discovery of joy and happiness in whatever they have. Karisma Kapoor’s daughter Samaira has handled the cinematography, Saif Ali Khan’s son Ibrahim is part of the creative team and Shekhar Kapur’s daughter Kaveri has handled the production. The actors in the film are also friends of the star kids.
